The piano books have written the songs in concert pitch, and guitarist don’t like to play the chords that are in rotten keys. For instance, if Eva played a song in the key of G, capo on the first fret - that’s really concert pitch of G# (or Ab), so I wrote the song out in the key of G so the guitarist is reading the music in the same key as the chords they are playing. ![]() She replied, “Yes, I have indicated the capo-fret on each song - AND have transposed the songs to the capo key. I asked Tina Davidson whether she noted that Eva often used a capo. Others have her intros & solos written out (Autumn Leaves, Over the Rainbow, I Wandered by the Brookside, Fields of Gold, Songbird, Time After Time). Some of the songs just have Eva’s accompaniment - with her strum/picking style written out in tablature. ![]() Tina Davidson, who transcribed the arrangements for the book, tells me, “As you can see, it is a variety of songs from all Eva’s albums. All of the participants had previously been treated with chemotherapy, and many had also been treated with an immune checkpoint inhibitor, a different type of immunotherapy drug. The trial enrolled more than 200 people with advanced, or extensive-stage, SCLC that had progressed or was no longer responding to treatment. That makes DL元 “a very attractive target in SCLC,” Dr. This protein is normally located inside cells but is often present at high levels on the surface of SCLC cells, where it can be recognized by tarlatamab. The arm of tarlatamab that targets small cell lung cancer cells attaches to a protein called DL元. By bringing T cells and cancer cells close together, they help the T cell recognize and destroy the cancer cell. These two-armed drugs simultaneously latch onto tumor cells and immune cells called T cells. Tarlatamab is a type of immunotherapy known as a bispecific T-cell engager, or BiTE. Tarlatamab harnesses T cells to destroy small cell lung cancer cells Paz-Ares, the manufacturer of tarlatamab has already launched a large clinical trial comparing tarlatamab with standard chemotherapy in people with SCLC that has come back after one initial treatment. Garrido also noted the need for more data on the effectiveness of tarlatamab against SCLC that has spread to the brain and for a biomarker that can predict which patients will respond to the drug.Īccording to Dr. However, she noted that patients need to be hospitalized to manage potentially serious side effects when they first receive the drug, which poses logistical challenges to its use.ĭr. The findings are “encouraging,” agreed Pilar Garrido, M.D., Ph.D., of Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal in Madrid, who spoke about the trial at the ESMO meeting but was not involved in it. The new findings “support the use of tarlatamab in these previously treated patients,” said the trial’s senior investigator, Luis Paz-Ares, M.D., Ph.D., of Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid, who presented the results at the ESMO meeting. Results of the trial-known as DeLLphi-301 and funded by Amgen, the company that makes tarlatamab-were presented October 20 at the annual meeting of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) in Madrid and published the same day in The New England Journal of Medicine ( NEJM). The new findings are “hopeful for patients and the people who treat them, especially since this is such an aggressive disease with very few advances in treatment since the 1980s,” he continued. “This is probably one of the most promising treatments being tested in small cell lung cancer right now,” Dr. This last finding was especially noteworthy, said Anish Thomas, M.D., of NCI’s Center for Cancer Research, who studies SCLC but was not involved in the trial. In the trial, tumors shrank in 40% of people given 10 mg of tarlatamab every 2 weeks and in about 32% of people who received a 100 mg dose.įurthermore, in more than half of all patients whose tumors shrank with tarlatamab, the treatment kept the cancer at bay for at least 6 months-and in many, it did so for 9 months or longer. Many people in the study had already received at least three different treatments. The early-stage clinical trial tested two different doses of an experimental drug called tarlatamab in people with SCLC whose cancer had progressed after at least two previous types of treatment. ![]() But the cancer usually progresses despite additional treatment, with most of these patients dying within weeks or months. Many people with SCLC respond to initial treatment with chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The findings are encouraging because little progress has been made in treating advanced SCLC, experts said. I guess I would have preferred an actual forced password change, before allowing any configuration. And, I don't think they're stopping starlink sales in EU because of that. There is no "sticker" but certainly there "no password'. If you look at Starlink, you plug-in cables, and it has an open Wi-Fi, and asks for a password to be set. These "stickers" seem like a backwards looking way to solve "no password' problem. While perhaps solvable with netinstall – even that only be clear with testing since there are no other docs on what should/shouldnt happen with this built-in password under what cases. This change is going to affect a LOT of people's workflow/processes/training/etc. Not saying the "admin" / no password thing shouldn't have been improved. If these still had a piezo buzzer, one thing that could be done to make it more obvious there was something trying to brute force the router from the inside (rogue IoT device?) would be to have the router play distict sound on login failure, and anther on successful login (and these should be configurable on/off by the user) could probably write a script to do it.īut this is a serious question, how do you propose to harden the router by default? I see that others have noted that it may be a requirement in the EU, I won't be surprised if it becomes a requirement in the USA as well for routers that are targeted towards consumers. ![]() There was no law enforcement requiring the use of seat belts until ~1985 (New Hampshire in the USA is the only state that still does not require adults to wear seat belts while operating a vehicle on a public highway), and after there were fines for non-compliance, then there was higher seat belt usage. I remember as a kid (around 1966) that our car had seatbelts but I think they were only in the front seat, but there was no law requiring the use of seatbelts or any fines for not using them. How do you propose that the problems described in be avoided? What do you propose as an alternative that will encourage the use of a non-trivial password? What percentage of home routers that force the user to set a password in the initial setup have a password in the "top 100 worst password" list ? (and that doesn't even include the nil password).Įven "professionals" are quite lax when it comes to passwords. These are being sold into the home/prosumer market. And even if only the LAN side has access to the management interface, an infected PC can easily carry out a brute force attack on a router. I agree that it will be a pain to automate, but an infected/compromised router does not only affect the home user, it makes a very powerful bot and it can be a powerful member of a DDOS. The problem with that argument is that there are a lot of bad people on the internet. Blank passwords don't hurt the internet, people do. Since I'd imagine it will be a recurring thing that new device will come with random passwords. So right now it unclear as to what process folks should be deal with this change.Īnyway, some documention how this works be VERY helpful. Haven't tried a netinstall, but guess that should clear these password. ![]() For me, if the branding kit at least work with this scheme, it might be workable. And doing a /system/reset-configuration also seems to restore the admin and Wi-Fi password from the sticker, so they are some-what sticky. system/default-configuration shown does NOT seem to set the Wi-Fi password in code, but clear it gets set someplace. We normally apply a default configuration using Branding Kit package – so very unclear how that going to work here. I'm still trying unwind how this work myself on a couple test hAPax3 we got.īut the NOT a word of documentation about any of this. So in fairness, their hand may have been forced here.
